About Carla Miles
Carla A. Miles is a Motivational Speaker, Fashion Designer, Actor, and Entrepreneur. From humble beginnings, Carla was born and spent much of her childhood in Catfish Capital, Belzoni, MS working side by side with her mom and stepdad who were sharecroppers. From an early age, Carla always had a determined spirit, creativity, and desire to support her family. Carla’s creative side would not lay idle and sharecropping was not enough for her. She desired more for her life and wanted to explore her love for design. Carla worked extra odd jobs to earn money for material and patterns she would use to create “Carla Miles Designs”.
Throughout early adolescence, Carla moved several times and settled in Detroit, MI. Shortly after she became a teen mother, forcing her to drop out of High School. With no plan in place and lack of financial stability, Carla set out on a quest to survive by all means necessary. After many years of fighting to survive and enduring tragedy and heartache, Carla mustered the strength to change her life. On a mission to save women from Prostitution and Human Trafficking, Carla took part in and spearheaded many charity efforts to raise awareness. In addition to public speaking, charity efforts, and launching a clothing line, Carla started her television debut after being cast as one of the Original Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Today, Carla is working on her Auto-biography set to release in late 2020 along with various other projects and charity initiatives. As an Anti-trafficking advocate and Woman Empowerment Coach, Carla thrives most when helping others.
